Imide‐containing ladder polyphenylsilsesquioxanes with high thermal stability and thermoplastic properties 下载免费PDF全文
This work reports for the first time the synthesis of ladder polyphenylsilsesquioxanes containing imide building blocks as parts of the main parallel chains. The ladder structure of the synthesized polymers was documented by means of small angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS) measurements. The obtained ladder polymers exhibit stability with respect to decomposition up to temperatures as high as 460°C; additionally, they have melting points far below their decomposition temperatures, which make them interesting candidate materials for thermoplastic processing. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Due to the increasing importance of modified electrodes for many applications in nanotechnology, including molecular electronics, bioelectronics, and sensors, there is a need to find ways to chemically attach suitable molecular films onto the electrodes. Combining the electroreduction of aryl diazonium salts with the Sonogashira cross‐coupling reaction, a new modular technique to modify electrodes is presented. The new technique allows a wide range of functional groups to be introduced onto electrode surfaces with high surface coverage by the functional subunit. Various organic subunits, including redox chromophores, are successfully attached to platinum electrodes. The corresponding films are characterized using cyclic voltammetry, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and contact‐angle measurements. The electroreduction of diazonium salts is successfully achieved on a broad variety of conducting and semiconducting surfaces, which shows that the technique is applicable to a broad variety of substrates. 相似文献

The determination of the time averages of continuous functions or discrete time sequences is important for various problems in physics and engineering, and the generalized final‐value theorems of the Laplace and z‐transforms, relevant to functions and sequences not having a limit at infinity, but having a well‐defined average, can be very helpful in this determination. In the present contribution, we complete the proofs of these theorems and extend them to more general time functions and sequences. Besides formal proofs, some simple examples and heuristic and pedagogical comments on the physical nature of the limiting processes defining the averaging are given. Presents the conceptual framework for a new method of classification of strategies of therapeutic intervention. The classification is based on the terms driving force and restraining force, where a driving force operates in the direction of achieving the therapeutic aim and a restraining force operates against this direction. Seven strategies are identified, and each is illustrated by an example from the literature. The seven strategies are (a) enhancing the driving forces, (b) reducing the restraining forces, (c) preventing the driving forces from reducing each other's effects, (d) preventing the restraining forces from enhancing each other's effects, (e) causing the driving forces to enhance each other's effects, (f) causing the restraining forces to reduce each other's effects, and (g) transforming the restraining forces into driving forces. The interest for the primary solid tumors of the mesentery (TSPM) is justified by the difficulties of preoperative diagnosis and surgical treatment of these unusual lesions. We analyzed 68 TSPM operated in the Department of General Surgery of Fundeni Hospital between 1960-1993. In the study were included only the lymphoma presented as mesenteric masses (n = 17); the enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes were excluded. The most common malignant tumor was the fibroma (n = 8) and lipoma (n = 10). In the resection of mesenteric tumors exposure of the superior mesenteric vessels is important. The relation between tumoral and superior mesenteric vessels is the necessary criterion of resectability: in 41 cases from 43 unresectable lesions the reason of unresectability was the invasion of the superior mesenteric vein and artery; in only two cases the reason was the presence of liver metastases. The resectability was not influenced by the multiplicity of the lesions: in all cases with multiple mesenteric tumors (6 patients) the resection was performed. The distant metastases of TSPM are rare; on the contrary, the local invasion is common. 相似文献

Molecular genetic analysis of the yeast Ebp2 protein has revealed that it is an essential, nucleolar protein that functions in the rRNA biosynthesis pathway. Temperature-sensitive ebp2-1 mutants are defective in the processing of the 27 SA precursor rRNA, and the point substitutions that disrupt this activity cluster towards the central, more highly conserved region of the Ebp2 protein. We report here that other ebp2 mutants exhibit deficiencies associated with defects in chromosome segregation. Yeast cells bearing a 50 amino acid C-terminal truncation allele (ebp2 delta C50) display a slow-growth phenotype and exhibit an increased percentage of cells with the nucleus positioned at the bud neck. The ebp2-1 and ebp2 delta C50 alleles genetically complement each other, and ebp2 delta C50 mutants exhibit nuclear division defects that are distinct from the rRNA biosynthesis-related phenotypes of ebp2-1 mutants. Cytological and FACS analysis of the ebp2 delta C50 deletion mutants indicate that the chromosome segregation related activities of the Ebp2 protein are monitored by Mad2p, a mitotic checkpoint protein. The finding that yeast Ebp2p functions in nuclear division is consistent with the growing body of evidence that supports the role that human EBP2 plays in chromosome segregation. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to describe some of the main problems concerning assembly line design. The focus will be on the following steps: (1) the input data preparation, (2) the elaboration of the logical layout of the line, which consists in the distribution of operations among stations along the line and an assignment of resources to the different stations, (3) finally the mapping phase using a simulation package to check the obtained results. This work presents a new method to tackle the hybrid assembly line design, dealing with multiple objectives. The goal is to minimize the total cost of the line by integrating design (station space, cost, etc.) and operation issues (cycle time, precedence constraints, availability, etc.). This paper also presents in detail a very promising approach to solve multiple objective problems. It is a multiple objective grouping genetic algorithm hybridized with the multicriteria decision-aid method PROMETHEE II. An approach to deal with users preferences in design problems is also introduced. The essential concepts adopted by the method are described and its application to an industrial case study is presented. 相似文献

This paper reports on the design, simulation and fabrication of tunable MEMS capacitors with fragmented metal (AlSi 4%) electrodes. We examine a rotational electro-thermal actuation. An analytic model of the rotational effect thermal actuator was established in order to show the periodicity of the capacitance when the angle increases. Evaluation of the impact of fringing fields on the capacitance has been carried out using finite element analysis (FEA). The MEMS capacitors were fabricated using metal surface micromachining with polyimide sacrificial layer. The maximum rotation, corresponding to a maximum angle of 7°, was obtained near 1.2 V and 299 mA. The proposed capacitor has a practical tuning range of 30%. FEA has shown that this figure can be improved with design optimization. The MEMS architecture based on rotational effect and fragmented electrodes does not suffer from the pull in effect and offers a practical solution for future above-IC capacitors. 相似文献
